100 DAYS OF STEEM : Day 100 - What Comes Next...
Happy Day 100 !
We are indeed happy that the 100 Days of Steem project has completed so successfully.
And we are also just a little sad that this fantastic journey has now reached its conclusion.
But this is only the end of the beginning.
The 100 Days of Steem has taught us so much. Most importantly that there is a whole new community ready and willing to work together to build a whole new Steem.
It is the support, the appreciation, the engagement from the community over the last 100 days that has made us so keen and eager to start on the next phase of the re-evolution of the world of Steem.
The 1000 Days of Steem
It couldn’t all end on Day 100. Could it?
We have come so far in 100 days. How much further can we go in 1000 days?
Today we are announcing the 1000 Days of Steem.
This won’t be quite the same as the 100 Days project. It won’t be posts and challenges every single day. Our fingers might fall off if we attempted that.
The 1000 Days of Steem is going to be a wider process where we build the strategy, the processes, the technology, and most importantly the community to set Steem on a course for a long and prosperous future.
We will be talking with the community, trying out ideas, listening for feedback, refining and then trying again until we find the optimal solutions for the growth of Steem and the Steem community.
The 1000 Days of Steem will be a Realtime Roadmap where we research, design and implement as we go along.
The roots of the 100 Days will not be forgotten. We will be running challenges, contests and games on an ongoing basis. We will continue to post regularly - although probably a few times a week rather than every day.
The Immediate Future
While the 1000 Days project plays out over the next 3 years we can assure you there will be plenty going on over the next few weeks and months…
- The Shopping Game is running now until July 31st.
The Lucky 10s comments game has proved very successful with The Diary Game and so will now switch to running with the The Shopping Game as well.
The Diary Game Season 2 starts on August 1st and will run for 50 days.
We will also be hosting a number of ad hoc challenges over the next three weeks - so keep following @steemitblog for more information.
Over this next week we will be finalising all the voting and points checking on The Diary Game. Then we plan to announce the winners of Season 1 next Saturday.
This coming week we will also be starting the application process for the new Country Representatives. Look out for more information on that on @steemitblog in the next few days if you are interested.
And there may be one or two other surprises coming in a @steemitblog post as well…
The past 100 Days have been truly enjoyable for us and we really appreciate all the support, enthusiasm and engagement from the community.
The next 1000 Days will be even better. We already have many, many ideas we are looking forward to sharing with you. And we very much hope you will have ideas you will want to contribute too.

The 100 days of steem has finally hits its end but would just only be the beginning. I have seen it started to day01 up to this day100. Time passes by so fast but not for everyone who has been a part of this journey. There are still amazing news in store for us and let's just keep our fingers crossed and stay loyal. I will resubmit my application to country Representatives the moment it will be be open. I'm currently onboarding people to join #musicforsteem and also think of other contests that would make everyone else active here. Will definitely on the lookout all the time here on @steemitblog.
