in #the100daysofsteem4 years ago (edited)

Hello Dear Steemit Team, Steem Curators and everyone around!, again with you in this lovely contest of #the100daysofsteem showcase. In brielf, let me use this opportunity to thank all Steemit Team members and Steem Curators for your immense contribution towards this roadmap of promoting Steem and individual Steemians as well. In fact I'm overwhelmed of the rewards that are coming, and I must say it has been so wonderful working with you.

As A Tourist Guide in Ghana to be precised, my Foreigners/ Visitors have landered at Accra Kotoka International Airport safely as I had fore hand information for their one day/24hrs visit. This is just a short visit, hence I need not to lead them to tour many places in Ghana, though we have many tourist attractions which would be impossible to complete all the rounds and good things I would want my Visitors to learn and enjoy. So, I have carefully selected only three most attractive and convenient places in the same area, they are just in proximity to each other. As I did my feasibility studies, I had toured so many places in Ghana and learned the number of good tourist attraction. I found out that Cape Coast in Central Region of Ghana is the best place I can accomplish my tour with my Visitors. The three most amazing tourist places in Cape Coast are "Elmina Castle, Kakum National Park and Hans Cottage Botel Hotel plus Crocodile pond." All these places are just close to each other, that we can take only 6 hours to complete touring. From Accra to Cape Coast is just 3hrs 4mins drive. Some of the important town to by-pass to reach Cape Coast are Kasoa, Winneba then Apam within short minutes you reach Cape Coast township. Here we are at Cape Coast, the city of Coast and adventure. At Cape Cape Coast we will take the main road heading towards Takoradi, just about 10mins drive and then turn left.

Our first point of tour: You are welcome to Elmina Castle!

As A Tourist Guide to my visitors, I will first of narrate a brief history about Elmina Castle before taking them through some of the attractive things they have to know in this Castle. To start with, Elmina Castle was built in the year 1482 by the Portuguese in there then Trans- Saharan Africa Trade. The idea of building this Castle was to help these Portuguese to stock their Gold being Traded from the Blacks. Though this Elmina Castle is situated in Ghana, but it wasn't serving mainly trade in Ghana but to trade in the Sub- African Regions. Visitors!, just imagine how this building is old? Let's enter this great building to see what you can learn. Here we are in large room stock of old historical items like old Ammunition that the Soldiers used for war. There we found some of the items used for slaves and many other things. From this place we take a short walk to the sea shore as you can see the beach around. There is cool breeze from the waves and tides blowing around. This is the same route we will take to our second point of tour.

"Our second point of tour: Guys, you are welcome to Kakum National Park & Walk-ways."

This is a large thick forest with tall and big trees. It has been reserved for games and tourist attraction for people all walks of life. It's one of the highest rainforest in Africa. This forest was well established in the year 1992. It has varieties of trees, raffia and animals. My Visitors, I'm happy to receive you here, let's begin to tour round. I've a big surprise for you!: *"that's to walk on the canopy walk- ways if you are brave to do so, because most men come and cry here.....hahaha.....!! Here we are on the canopy walk ways about seven steps and #130ft above the sea level. I take my Visitors through the walk ways and finally descend. The next is to branch at Hans Cottage which you will also love to be there. This is just some 15mins walk. But since we have our own car we will reach very soon.

Our last point of tour: You are welcome to Hans Cottage Botel Hotel, plus Crocodile pond.

I hope you Guys have exhausted a lot of energy over a long day walk. It's now 4:30pm in Ghanaian's time. We've almost spent 8hrs instead of 6hrs hours I suggested in all these rounds. So let's get to Kotoka International Airport if you wish to take flight. That is all about these three attractive places, I hope you will find time for your second tour which will be at different places. Is nice meeting you and serving you!
