100 DAYS OF STEEM : Day 64 - Friday Challenge - The Biggest Event of the Year

Steemit's best friends are everywhere ... On this occasion I tried to follow the challenge of @steemitblog namely "100 DAYS OF STEEM: Day 64 - Friday Challenge - The Biggest Event of the Year". Each country has a very lively annual event, which is usually only celebrated once a year. This also applies in the small town where I live. Namely the celebration of the independence day of the unitary state of the Republic of Indonesia which is commemorated every August, namely on August 17 each year.

Last year the celebration was very lively, starting on the morning of a flag ceremony held in the ceremonial center of the city center of Kruenggeukueh. And followed by all state apparatuses, educational institutions from kindergarten to students from one of the universities not far from the city center, representatives from the military, there are Arhanud, Marines who live in military complexes in Dewantara District, in addition to the army and police who participated in the ceremony to celebrate the birthday of the Republic of Indonesia which was held royally.

Commemorative ceremonies were also participated by drumband groups from elementary to high school.

The excitement of the Indonesian Republic's Independence Day was also marked by various contests attended by kindergartens to high school students.

Lots of competitions are held to enliven the birthday of the Republic of Indonesia, there are even cultural exhibitions or carnivals that are usually also attended by kindergarten to high school students.

This is a very lively cultural carnival and certainly very interesting to follow, as well as entertainment for people who live in the sub-district or from outside the sub-district even if we are watched by people outside the district, this is because we are between two cities / districts which is very close.

How about the year in the midst of the corona outbreak that was engulfing the area we lived in, at this time the area we lived in was put into the red zone even though from a few cases that occurred they were not infected with corona alias negative.

We wait for the time to come, whether the corona will pass or is still a deadly plague. But this actually has no effect on our city, even though the population is very dense but it has been anticipated better beforehand. We as ordinary people are just waiting for orders or permits from the government whether to celebrate the birthday of the Republic of Indonesia this year with great fanfare, because this year is the 75th year, Indonesia Merdeka.

This anniversary celebration was held in a small town, Kruenggeukueh, North Aceh Regency, Aceh Province, Indonesia.
