*. Michael Jeffrey Jordan

Michael Jeffrey Jordan, (Brooklyn, New York, United States, February 17, 1963), better known as Michael Jordan, is a former American basketball player.

He currently owns the NBA team the Charlotte Hornets. He is considered by most fans and specialists as the best basketball player of all time.

With nicknames like Air, His Royal Airness (Air Majesty) or Air Jordan, he was a player of the Chicago Bulls and Washington Wizards. Retired for the first time in 1993, then in 1999 and finally in 2003.

. Wilton Norman "Wilt" Chamberlain

Wilton Norman "Wilt" Chamberlain (
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, August 21, 1936 - † Los Angeles, California, October 12, 1999); legendary player of American origin of basketball who played in Philadelphia / San Francisco Warriors, Philadelphia 76ers and Los Angeles Lakers.

Chamberlain scored 100 points against the New York Knicks on March 2, 1962.

Known as Wilt the Stilt (nickname he hated) or The Big Dipper, he is considered by most specialists to be the most dominant basketball player of all time.

He was named most valuable player in the NBA four times, he was the best NBA quintet in eight seasons and the second quintet in two, and was on the list of the 50 best players in the history of the NBA.

His exploits motivated the NBA authorities to change some rules of the game.

Lawrence Joe Bird (West Baden, Indiana, December 7, 1956) is a former American basketball player who played 13 seasons in the NBA, all with the Boston Celtics, with which he won 3 championships in 1981, 1984 and 1986.

He is considered by many to be the best forward in NBA history

He had a spectacular duel with Magic Johnson between 1982 and 1987. Larry Bird won consecutively the first three editions of the NBA triple contest in 1986, 1987 and 1988.

He was in teams like the Milwaukee Bucks and the Los Angeles Lakers from 1969 to 1989. "Lew Alcindor" is the NBA's leading scorer and closer. Abdul-Jabbar made his big screen debut in the movie Game of Death along with Bruce Lee, participating in the original filming in 1973

Abdul-Jabbar left basketball at the age of 42 as the top scorer, stopper, defensive rebounder and the one who played the most matches and minutes in the history of the NBA.

In 1996, a group of media members, former players, coaches and general managers named him one of the 50 best players in the history of the NBA and in 2002 entered the Basketball Hall of Fame

*. Julius Winfield Erving II

Former American player who stood out in the 70s and 80s. Erving won three championships, four MVP awards and three top scorer titles in both the ABA, with Virginia Squires and New York Nets, and in the NBA, with the Philadelphia 76ers.

He is the fifth highest scorer in the history of professional basketball with 30,026 points (NBA and ABA combined).

Erving was named one of the 50 best players in the history of the NBA and in 1993 was included in the Basketball Hall of Fame. In addition, he was one of the pioneers of mate, popularizing the spectacular "Tomahawk"

*. Bill Russell

He was the maximum standard of the Boston Celtics who won 11 championships in 13 years. Russell is considered one of the best defenders in the history of the NBA

He was the first basketball player to jump from high school to a professional league.

Robert Lee Parish played a total of 21 seasons of the NBA, being the oldest player in the history of the competition. The Boss became famous for wearing the shirt with the double zero (00).

He was nicknamed The Boss (The Chief), comparing his impenetrable face with that of the Indian character in the movie One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, starring Jack Nicholson.

According to the legend, it was his teammate in the Celtics Cedric Maxwell who gave him such a nickname.

  1. Patrick Ewing

    The Jamaican player was one of the stars of the New York Knicks and was part of the famous Dream Team of Barcelona 1992.

Ewing played college basketball at Georgetown University, chosen in the 1985 NBA Draft in the first round of the first round by the New York Knicks, where he played most of his career.

In total, in 1183 games played, scored 24,815 points, captured 11,607 rebounds, and made 2,894 blocks.

He participated in 11 editions of the NBA All-Star Game and was part of the NBA's Best Quintet in 1990.
