GOD..., KARMA, YOUR BIBLE, THE GOSPEL AND YOU

(please read with patience)
Nothing embarrasses a believer like ignorance.
I have been there and so many a believer.
My passion to teach believers precise interpretation of scriptures is not just a decision borne of out what works or is popular but a conviction and deep passion
It's what I live for and will die for if need be.
2 Corinthians 13:8 KJV [8] For we can do nothing against the truth, but for the truth.
It becomes a sin if after via privilege of been taught we concede to popular views.
James 4:17 KJV Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.
That said
It appears many still can't understand simple truths about bible study, hence the delight and gusto to weave bible verses together without proper interpretation of things which need rightly dividing.
For example, see this terminology "if you need mercy from God, show mercy"… A dear brother/ minister, told me how he was told to go give to the blind if he wanted to be healed of an ailment in his eyes.
Even after I took a while and yard of effort to explain scriptures, he still quipped saying "but can't God lead this way even if scriptures don't teach it?"
There you have it, drop the "God card" and we have to bow. I asked him, if I took your wife away and declare "all things are mine" is my "Rhema" from God, is that acceptable?
He laughed at my "Rhema", whilst he should be weeping at his tomfoolery!
None sense.
Do we sow to reap God’s blessings?
He added a text we shall approach later...
Galatians 6:7 KJV Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.
Now let's view a few things, anyone who believes God rewards good deeds with His blessings must accept as well that he does the same for things we do which are wrong.
The is very similar to the Buddhist law of karma.
Karma (Sanskrit: IPA: [ˈkərmə]; Pali: kamma) means action, work or deed;[1] it also refers to the spiritual principle of cause and effect where intent and actions of an individual (cause) influence the future of that individual (effect).
2] Good intent and good deed contribute to good karma and future happiness, while bad intent and bad deed contribute to bad karma and future suffering. [3]
[4] Karma is closely associated with the idea of rebirth in many schools of Asian religions. [5] In these schools, karma in the present affects one's future in the current life, as well as the nature and quality of future lives - one's saṃsāra.
[6] From Wikipedia.
If this is so, God is either Buddha or Buddha is of God.
Now let's examine where things are often mixed up.
Matthew 7:2 KJV [2] For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.
This is cause and effect, judge and you will be judged.
Luke 6:37-38 KJV [37] Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven:
38] Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.
Same issue here.
Even though it has been converted for giving offering,
But we ought to notice in this/ these instances it's men who judge and give back, not God.
It's not the famed law of giving and receiving.
It's judgement and mercy.
Much more lies in this part of the bible.
.
The four gospels.
Matthew 6:12, 14-15 KJV
[12] And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.
[14] For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:
[15] But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.
Forgiveness of sins will be earned.
If this were to be permanently so, where in would lie salvation of the world?
No doubt this was the Old Testament, the law of Moses.
It hadn't been abolished yet.
Jesus only abolished it in his death.
Romans 10:4 KJV For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.
2 Corinthians 3:14 KJV But their minds were blinded: for until this day remaineth the same vail untaken away in the reading of the old testament; which vail is done away in Christ.
Galatians 3:23-25 KJV
[23] But before faith came, we were kept under the law, shut up unto the faith which should afterwards be revealed.
[24] Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith.
[25] But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster.
Ephesians 2:14-15 KJV
[14] For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us;
[15] Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace;
Colossians 2:14 KJV Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;
Hebrews 8:13 KJV In that he saith, A new covenant, he hath made the first old. Now that which decayeth and waxeth old is ready to vanish away.
Hebrews 9:15 KJV And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance.
That said.
When Christ died, He took the judgement of our sins and failures upon himself.
Romans 5:8 KJV But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
Galatians 1:4 KJV Who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father:
Ephesians 1:7 KJV In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;
Colossians 2:13 KJV And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses;
Hebrews 2:17 KJV Wherefore in all things it behoved him to be made like unto his brethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people.
This is no contradiction, it is a confirmation of His redemptive sacrifice for our sins.
Because of this, we can't be convicted for punishment for sins.
John 3:17-18 KJV For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
[18] He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
John 5:24 KJV Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.
Moses law accuses and brings condemnation
John 5:45 KJV Do not think that I will accuse you to the Father: there is one that accuseth you, even Moses, in whom ye trust.
Jesus brought grace, which is the truth i.e. reality of the Father
John 1:17 KJV For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.
This happened when he died for sins.
He doesn't negate what he said earlier about been judged for doing wrong and being blessed for doing right.
However, he took the judgment on our behalf and did the good for us.
Eternally.
Hebrews 9:12,15 KJV
[12] Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us .
15] And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance.
The redemption, price for our sinful deeds is forever, and what we receive from it i.e. the good deeds, inheritance is also forever.
Jesus taught this briefly in the four gospels.
Luke 18:11-12 KJV
[11] The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men are, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican. [12] I fast twice in the week, I give tithes of all that I possess.
He prayed to himself.
He wanted karma to avail him, self-righteous proud fellow.
I give so bless me, I don't sin, so grant me audience.
He will go to hell, except he repents and stops trusting in his deeds.
Luke 18:13 KJV [13] And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner.
Be merciful here originally means "Propitiate for me" provide a sacrifice for my sins,
This is how to be justified and blessed by God, not karma or Buddha.
Luke 18:14 KJV [14] I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other: for every one that exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted.
Today, we have this propitiation in the shed blood of Christ.
1 John 2:1-2 KJV
[1] My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:
[2] And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.
We have a righteous case before God.
Not sowing to reap mercy.
Romans 4:25 KJV Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification.
Romans 5:1 KJV Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:
Just like Abraham; our sins aren't counted for punishment
Romans 4:5-8 KJV
[5] But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.
[6] Even as David also describeth the blessedness of the man, unto whom God imputeth righteousness without works,
[7] Saying, Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered.
[8] Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin.
Forgiveness of sins isn't a prayer point or a reward for repentance, that is change of behavior.
Hebrews 8:12 KJV For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more.
It's God’s covenant now fulfilled
1 John 2:12 KJV [12] I write unto you, little children, because your sins are forgiven you for his name's sake.
For his name sake.
Unlike what Jesus said in the famed "Lord's Prayer" that we are forgiven when we forgive others, since he had died for us, that has been properly concluded.
Ephesians 4:32 KJV [32] And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.
We don't forgive to be forgiven, rather we forgive because we are forgiven.
This is very vital to a sequel we shall study later about giving materially for material blessings.
The wages of sin is death under the law of Moses
Romans 6:23 KJV For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. But Christ's death paid this wage and gave us eternal life as a gift.
That’s why Moses' law is called sin and death
Romans 8:2 KJV For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.
We are set free from it.
Karma takes its strength here, it’s a principle of sins
Dominion.
Romans 5:12, 14 KJV
[12] Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:
[14] Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam's transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come.
Moses' law only strengthened it.
It brought condemnation.
2 Corinthians 3:7, 9 KJV
[7] But if the ministration of death, written and engraven in stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not stedfastly behold the face of Moses for the glory of his countenance; which glory was to be done away:
[9] For if the ministration of condemnation be glory, much more doth the ministration of righteousness exceed in glory.
Death and condemnation.
We don't do karma in Christianity.
We don't sow to get!
He sent us to preach the good news not karma
Luke 24:47 KJV And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.
Repentance here is change of view.
Mark 16:16 KJV He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.
This is not the law.
Acts 10:43 KJV To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins.
Faith, not change of behavior.
For no one could bear the law
Acts 15:10 KJV Now therefore why tempt ye God, to put a yoke upon the neck of the disciples, which neither our fathers nor we were able to bear?
We don't work for mercy or pray for it or sow for it, that’s anti-Christ.
1 Peter 2:10 KJV Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.
It's now ours...
Titus 3:5-6 KJV [5] Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;
[6] Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour;
Abundantly means we won't be needing a fresh supply ever. So, we don't sow to reap God’s blessings.
We are blessed with all.
Ephesians 1:3 KJV Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:
Now what was Paul teaching the Galatians
Galatians 6:7 KJV Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.
This will sound like Moses' law or even karma
If you allow laziness to make you look stupid.
Let's examine its pretext.
Galatians 6:6 KJV Let him that is taught in the word communicate unto him that teacheth in all good things.
Giving material things to your teacher...,
So, he is referring to kindness.
Earlier taught as fruit of the spirit
Galatians 5:22 KJV But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
Goodness here is kindness
We live in it, that is, it’s our nature
Hence, we ought to walk in it
Galatians 5:25 KJV If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.
Back to the text –
Galatians 6:8 KJV [8] For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.
.
NOW PAY ATTENTION HERE IN GOD’S HOLY NAME!
The flesh refers to the old man which has been crucified and is dead not the body.
But the body gives it access
Galatians 5:24 And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.
We sow to the flesh means to act differently from your nature in Christ; the spirit.
You reap corruption, which originally means "decay"… Let's cite a few synonyms
Romans 8:21 KJV Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.
The mortal state of the physical body.
.
1 Corinthians 15:42, 50 KJV
[42] So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption:
[50] Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.
Our physical body again, subject to decay and death
Colossians 2:22 KJV Which all are to perish with the using;) after the commandments and doctrines of men?
Doctrines of men.
.
So, if you act in sin, there’s a loss of reward and glory for you not punishment!
Similar to what Paul taught about the judgment of all believers
1 Corinthians 3:15 KJV If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.
Suffer loss.
This is not a conviction for punishment but a loss of rewards!
Such men won't receive anything, this is the corruption you will receive for acting in the flesh.
1 Corinthians 9:27 KJV But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway.
Castaway means disqualified, used in races.
It means no medal, no rewards, not loss of salvation.
The pretext here is clear
1 Corinthians 9:24-25 KJV
[24] Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain. [25] And every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible.
Incorruptible means eternal, this will come out shortly
.
2 Corinthians 5:10 KJV [10] For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.
All believers will appear before the judgement seat of Christ, not the white throne judgement which is for the world; Saints shall judge the world
1 Corinthians 6:2 KJV Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters?
Our judgment is bema seat in Greek anthology, it means reward seat, used in sports stadia back then to give medals; those who do bad things will be rewarded with corruption, nothing!
They didn't run lawfully, no self-control
Having sown to a crucified flesh.
So, Paul’s teaching to Galatia wasn't karma but loss of reward, sowing to a dead crucified old man will only give temporary benefits but no eternal value..., sowing to the flesh means to walk in the flesh
However, sowing to the spirit is to walk in the spirit,
Galatians 6:8 KJV... but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.
The original arrangement is "shall reap of the spirit, of everlasting life"
This isn't giving to get more money!
That's preposterous interpretation!
Nothing earthly is everlasting.
Matthew 6:19-20 KJV [19] Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal:
20] But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:
He is teaching giving to store up rewards in heaven!
Not more money.
This is what he was teaching, if you sow to the spirit your reward is eternal, at the judgement seat of Christ, not sowing to get.
.
He taught this to Timothy too
1 Timothy 6:18-19 KJV [18] That they do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to distribute, willing to communicate; [19] Laying up in store for themselves a good foundation against the time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life.
When you give you are laying in store in eternity.
Not getting back more money when we walk in the spirit, which also is giving to ministers and others, our rewards aren't here on earth, for if it's more money then, it means we reaped corruption!
Paul calls wealth uncertain, which means they don't last, all wealth are temporary, whether Solomon or Gates.
1 Timothy 6:17 KJV Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy;
We don't sow to get money or more ridiculous; God’s blessings!
.
Galatians 6:9-10 KJV [9] And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. [10] As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.
If we faint not!
That is don't stop giving else we lose our rewards, we have to keep the faith and be faithful.
1 Corinthians 4:2 KJV Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful.
Faithfulness is the end; due season is the end of our lives just like Paul
2 Timothy 4:7-8 KJV [7] I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:
[8] Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.
That's when you reap what you have sown... If you faint and stop, like Paul said in Corinth, you become a castaway; lose your reward. If you endure, you are rewarded
James 1:12 KJV Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.
So, we don't do karma in our giving...

We don't earn God’s blessing of forgiveness, material provision, healing, mercy or favour!
Rather He gives us to be faithful stewards.
We give because we have been given, we forgive because we have been forgiven, we bless because we are blessed, and we have our reward in eternity... And for those who don't give, forgive but walk in the flesh, they aren't punished but they get corruption, nothing!
So, don't "karmalise" our Father God in your "law marrying grace message with its child money gospel"!
.
Have a fruitful day ahead, walk and receive God’s abundantly blessings without thinking you must do something to get them and give, forgive and bless others not for earthly returns but to lay hold on eternal life, your rewards at His judgment seat
I call you blessed Jesus is Lord, we win
