The Bajra Shahi Mosque, built in imitation of the Shahi Mosque of Delhi under the Bajra Union of Sonaimuri Upazila of Noakhali district, is carrying memories of the Mughal empire. According to Persian inscription on the central passage of the mosque, according to the Mughal Emperor Muhammad Shah, the mosque built by 1100 AH by the zamindar Amanullah in 1139 AH and the 1732 mosque, as the descendant of Amanullah, the two people named Ali Ahang and Shujir Uddin performed the mosque by performing Chinese wood and glass. After 177 years of the construction of the mosque was repaired once in 1909.

The mosque is a clear example of Mughal architecture. Every day a lot of people come to see the beautifully decorated mosque.
