I worked in the nuclear power industry for several years (1988-1994). Initially, I believed it was the panacea to solve our energy problems.
Eventually I recognized that it has the potential to be the worst energy source known to man.
Fighting carbon emissions is quite feasible with cheap technology.
Fighting nuclear waste will, by definition, be an EXTREMELY long and hard fight.
