what a weird phenomenon in texas Rain wasn't the only thing that fell from the sky as thunderstorms swept through parts of Louisiana and Texas late Wednesday afternoon. In fact, in and around Texarkana, a Texan town, there were numerous reports of "fish raining," for at least a few minutes, according to US media outlet 710Keel.
Media across town received calls reporting fish were falling from the sky. According to witnesses, small fish could be seen in the streets, parking lots and gardens. Some were four to six inches long and, according to more than one report, "looked like young white bass".

According to meteorologists, the phenomenon of “rain of fish”, although extremely rare, is the result of an unusual meteorological event during which a waterspout, moving over a lake.
Such was the case by Texarkana, in the United States in Utah in October of this year.
