I don't mean to be rude, but seriously? The United States of America is still the freest nation in the world simply because as citizens we have the God given right to defend ourselves. Whether it be from crazy people who want to do us harm, foreign powers, or even our own government. If you believe that having guns prohibited and disposed of will make us more "secure" you obviously aren't a student of history. Remember, you are more likely to be shot by a government official than by a fellow citizen. I ask that you be open-minded about the issue. Do more research. Go out to a shooting range with an experienced gun owner and fire off a few rounds. If you do, I bet you'll change your mind. Peace!
