The worship of idols
How did the idea of worshiping idols originally come to people at a time?
A very silly idea, and not only that. It took a lot of human life to recover from it, hundreds of counter ideas and arguments, and in the end, if you think about it in more detail..
There were very many prophets who were descending, forbidding people from this idea..
Although ridiculously...
I mean, our master Ibrahim, when he broke the idols in the temple in Babylon, and they asked him, he told them.. the eldest of them did it..
They became very angry, because inside them they knew the absurdity of the idea, but “this is what we found our fathers on” was a fundamentalist tendency, among the nationalist tendencies on which wars are based until today..
In the first, humans were living and worshiping God Almighty, alone and without partner, the difference was in the "goodness" of the soul itself, from disobedience to divine orders and abstaining from immorality and the ability of man to resist his desires to the end..
But it was not possible to put forward the idea that there is another deity other than God Almighty.
That was a foregone conclusion...
But Satan, with his wickedness and cunning, has determined that his humanity is victorious over an absolute and firm truth like this, which has no way to change it.
The issue started from a totally unexpected point.
Among the people in this period, there were five people who were very good and very ascetic in worshiping God Almighty, and their names were “Wed-help-impeding-swaa-eagle” and people were fascinated by them and their wisdom and strong obedience to God Almighty..
When they died, and from the people's love for them, models of them began to appear carved in the homes and clubs where people sit, after them and their memory, and with the passage of years and because their biography was blessed among people..
People turned that they were asking for their requests from these idols that were in the image of righteous people, under the pretext of invoking their pious spirit to bless their claim..
With the passage of years and time getting longer, people turned to worshiping these idols without God Almighty..
The first land in which these idols were worshiped is the land in which “Wid” lived, and the story there took a very demonic course..
When Wad died, Iblis saw the extent of the grief and grief of his family and people over his loss, so he embodied the image of a man and looked at them.
And they said: I see your anxiety over this man, so can you make a picture of him for you, so that he will be in your club, so that you will remind him of him in order to perpetuate his memory and his sincere worship of God?
They said, "Yes."
He photographed for them a statue that looked exactly like Wad and placed it in their club, so the parents rejoiced greatly and preferred to visit him, and when he saw how happy they were, he said to them: Shall I make for you a statue like it in the house of each of you to have him in his house, so you remember him?
They said: Yes.
He made a "fetish" house for each and presented it to them.
And with that, the first idol that was on earth was for "Wd"..
And the preference of this ordinary and followed because of its instillation in the belief of the ancient man..
These idols are a representation of the righteous servants, and they are mediation between us and the Greatest God, but after a while..
People began to worship idols, absolute worship without God..
Thus, the idols were the first illogical deities that man worshiped, and the reason was to plant an idea in the collective consciousness with all accuracy and subtlety..
Indeed, a diabolical idea that pushed humanity to desire it over many years.
But what I want to convey to you from my words, that until today, man is not conscious of seeing this “divine superiority” represented in individuals without feeling it, throwing at some of those with knowledge and authority the sacred aura because of divine superiority..
And it is represented, my friend, in knowledge and authority, meaning the absolute power that is within its human limits remains relative..
But man loves to submit to everything that is stronger than the door of reassurance and tranquility.
It is possible to create an idol and present it with mythical tales, and attack it with sanctity and drop it on it so that he feels that he is safe and protected because of the illusion he is living in..
As he cast this sacred aura on "Nimrud", "Pharaoh" and other rulers, to unleash absolute power on them, so that people feel safe while they are under their rule..
And man does not make idols until today.
Mental idols, unconsciously, set by man as gods in the hollow of his depths..
For example, fancy dress.
In the name of of Allah the Merciful..
"I saw who took his god and God, and God is informed and sealed on his hearing and his heart, and make his sight of Ghasha.
And the talk about the history of idolatry, according to the book “Idols” by its writer “Hisham Al-Kalbi,” which he wrote in the year 204 AH, based on the narrations of the scholars, the Companions, and the Prophet’s Sunnah.
that's it..
thank you so much..
