RE: Stee.... - Now Abusing Yours Upvotes. ( Ask to edited the Title )
I don't see the abuse. I mean these services do get to use some of your votes, everyone agreed to it when they signed up. Aren't you going a bit far? I am glad you look out for people, and I take your claims seriously, so all I ask is that you be very certain...
Look at the link @justtryme90
Look again , upvoted for deleted materials
That account is one which anyone can sign into and do stuff with, in fact I could sign into it if I wanted. The votes were for the post before someone went and deleted the content. You can find what the post originally said if you look back through on steemd.
So I did look at the link, I don't see any abuse. If anything the person who deleted the post was the abusor, but since anyone can use that accoint, there is no way to know who it was.
That mass account is nothing but Trouble.
I got downvoted , so I went an investigate.
So I found this. What the matter with everyone?
It all started with @steemvoter last night.
This have getting bigger and bigger.
All those Curating Guilds nothing but TROUBLE!!!
Now, Automated
No ones even Read!!!
What is the Point?
I am running around looking for Best Posting materials, Look Likes this All going down the Tube!!! No Ones Read here!!!
Plenty of people read, I do. How else would I have commented on your post? Automated voting serves to allow people to support authors they know and like, that they read but may miss some posts due to lack of time to be on steemit 24/7. Do people abuse the systems? Sure. Yet they do have a legitimate use. Don't get too worked up about it all, this community has shown time and time again the ability to see an issue and make changes. If there are problems here with the voting services then the community will deal with them as we have everything else, democratically and together.
I hope so, as this will makes #steemit looks very SILLY.
Hey @justtryme90, can you post a link to where you found what the post said on steemed? I haven't used it, so I am unsure how it works.
https://steemd.com/whistleblowing/@the.masses/whales-pump-ozchart-to-trending-4-6-7-total-over-usd300-repost
You just go to the user, and look back for where they first authored the post. You can use that to see any iteration of a post. It's all stores forever on the block chain.
You can click the little blue icon in the top left of the post on steemd and even see the actual post and it's formatting.
This applies to anybody and any post. There is no such thing as deleted on steemit.
Perfect. Thank you so much! This helps immensely...Now I can at least formulate my own opinion. haha
It also lets me know that @bullionstackers obviously downvoted/flagged a post that was portraying the same idea that he is trying to portray. This is why it was all so confusing to me.
