ThankYou Contest # 1

Hello everyone! This is my entry for @laviniatherapist’s thankyou contest. I may not win on this contest, i just want to show my gratitude and appreciation for all the people who helped me on steemit. ☺️❤️

At first, i really don’t know what steemit is and what it has to offer. One of my greatest hobbies in life is really posting stuffs in my social media accounts. Until one day, my boyfriend @dombaltazar told me about this platform. He introduced steemit and told me that, instead of posting on my social media accounts, why dont i just post it here on steemit. You can learn and earn at the same time, he added. So i became interested at a blink of an eye. Our friend, @enjieneer was the one who introduced steemit to him. Jie has been here on steemit for almost a year i think, that’s why i really consider her as our greatest mentor and source of encouragement. ☺️

Honestly, i had a difficulty making a steemit account. I almost had the point where i give up because my email adress is still not approved. But until one day, my friend @littlemissmicah got her account approved that’s why, i tried my luck again at the third time using my third email address and finally, i got my account approved. Making an account here on steemit really takes a lot of patience and passion. Wanna thank myself for never giving up! Hehe. Ok fast forward to my steemit journey! Once i got my password, I quickly logged in my account and posted my introduction. Because im just a newbie, @enjieneer guided and helped me what hashtags to be used! I also made her read my post before i posted it.

Wayback February 17, 2018, @enjieneer invited us to attend the first meetup caravan in Malolos Bulacan hosted by the great couple, mam @dandalion and sir red @steemitph. As a newbie, i really don’t know what steemit has to offer. All is really know is just to post, like and comment just like what im just doing in my social media accounts. But because of this meetup, I learned from mam @dandalion and sir red @steemitph that steemit is a platform where you can use your talents, passion in writing, learn and earn. But this platform is not an easy money. As far as i could remember, mam @dandalion told us that steemit is like a sprint... the longer you are in, the winner you become. ☺️ On this event, i also learned the importance of powering up and how it could help you and others as well. It can help you grow your reputation and the community as well. I’m just so thankful to this couple for hosting an event like this, and of course to jie and doms for inviting and allowing me to become part of this event and of course on steemit as well!
