Once upon a time I looked forward to being a curmudgeon. I like the word. I haven't broken it down yet. Cur, is something dangerous, if I'm recalling correctly. Maybe it will remain a mystery, or maybe you will investigate it.
The best thing about indoctrinating kids, is that there's no resistance. My parents had lived roughly a quarter century when I was born, but it seemed that we had the same basic curriculum in school, especially about holidays like Thanksgiving.
In this episode I ponder how the indoc is going with the folks who've rushed the borders in the past three, or even five years. Do they know our mythology? Do they perceive the "settling of the wilderness" the genocide of indigenous people on this land? Do they, the immigrants, know that they are part of some, "replacement conspiracy?"
But it's not a completely crazy Turkey Day special. (No gym, no throwback, just grace.
