I dread the Holidays season for many obvious reasons, but hope for peace on earth will keep us going. One problem solved, another 10 followed..
Well, peace on earth is inevitable, as humanity grows up.
But, as you say, from the personal point of view, war is one of the lesser annoying things. You are either dead or alive. But, dealing with emotional trauma of a narcissistic world, is a greater pain.
But, we will work that out too.
