Police in Chiang Mai are hunting down a serial rapist

Last week, at least three women were attacked on the third ring road in Chiang Mai by a serial rapist near the Doi Saket and Sansai areas.

The officials in Chiang Mai have pulled together the local offices and formed a search team for the serial rapist. Under the name "police eyes" the police wants to reach a larger extent the search for the approximately 25-30 years old man.

According to reports, the man has been targeting middle-aged women traveling alone with their motorcycles at night. He kicks or hits his victims off the bike, robs them and tries to rape them.

On June 17, police released a sketch of the attacker. The man should be 160 cm tall and slim. He has short hair and is traveling with a Honda motorcycle.

The officials believe that the offender is targeting older women, as they usually carry more cash and expensive items. In search of his victims, he drives alongside the ladies and then enters the motorcycle while driving

He then pulls the women into a forest area, robs them and then tries to rape them. after his act the man disappears again.

Each victim has reported to the police that they ask the offender after the rape smile, if they are happy and they have fallen the rape.

The first victim was a 30-year-old woman, his second victim was a woman at the age of 40 years. Both victims had reported the officers almost the same action. The man kicked her from her motorcycle, raped her and robbed her. The third victim, a 47-year-old woman, was robbed and not raped after resisting the attacker.

The man was described by the police as a psychopath and is considered a danger to any female being in the area. Although the man was recorded by security cameras, you can not see the license plate of his motorcycle on the pictures.

The police have asked the public for extra caution and advised all women not to be alone on a motorcycle at night.
