Temple on the Hill in Pai

I don't think this is actually a temple but more like a shrine or a chedi, but it is commonly referred to as "Temple on the Hill" even if it isn't technically correct.

Anyone who is staying in Pai can simply look to the East and you will see this shrine in the distance and it is very easy to get to. There are a bunch of steps you have to walk up, several hundred. If you aren't in good enough shape for this there isn't any other method of arriving at the top. I suppose you could hire someone to carry you... ha!

If anyone out there finds themselves in Pai, and you really should, it is lovely there, this easy to access shrine is worth going to. The views from the top are actually pretty great to the valley below as well. Get a bottle of water at the base of the hill as there isn't much cover towards the top and can get very hot on a clear day!

Normally, I would place a map of some sort but honestly, if you are in Pai you'll see it. It is evident.
