When we arrived in Bangkok we couldn't believe Thailand was the 10th country we visited in 5 months.
After 3 weeks of hitchhiking from Lithuania to Asia, 1 month in Turkey, 1 week in Georgia, 1 month in Turkey, 1 month in Iran and 1 month Nepal we had 14 days to explore Thailand. Not much for such a large and colorful country.

INTERESTING FACTS ABOUT THAILAND
[1.] Thailand’s name in the Thai language is Prathet Thai, which means “Land of the Free.” It is the only country in Southeast Asia that was never colonized by a European nation. The term may also refer to an ethnic group from which many Thai people descend.
[2.] The real name of Bangkok is one of the longest names of a place in the world, made up of Pali and Sanskrit root words: Krungthepmahanakhon Amonrattanakosin Mahintharayutthaya Mahadilokphop Noppharatratchathaniburirom Udomratchaniwetmahasathan Amonphimanawatansathit Sakkathattiyawitsanukamprasit. It means “City of Angels, Great City of Immortals, the Magnificent City of the Nine Gems, Seat of the King, City of Royal Palaces, Home of Gods Incarnate, Erected by Visvakarman at Indra’s Behest.”
[3.] Earlier known as Siam, it changed its name to Thailand in 1939. Then in 1945, it again changed its name back to Siam, but in 1949 turned it back to Thailand.
[4.] Thailand is the world’s 51st largest country (513,120 km2). It is 7,85 times bigger than Lithuania (65,300 km2). :DDD
[5.] Buddhism is the country's main religion – it is practiced by 95 percent of the population.

Photos don't show how hot and humid Bangkok is. :D 24/7 its like sauna. Thai like their air conditioners a lot. If it's 30 degrees Celsius outside, it's only 18 in buses of other kinds of public transportation. Huge temperature differences. They like to joke that the coolest weather in Thailand so far was 16 degrees Celsius and it was in the cinema. :DDD Besides temperature differences, which is bad for health, everything else was great. We tried weirdest types of food there.
I know that sensation 😂 I live in Spain and the fuckin’ summer is horrible!

I live here since I’m 9 years old so... it’s literally my home, I live in Catalonia and the weather is nice, the food is good and the people, culture and all the stuff are good too! I’m not objective, but I won’t change it for living in other country of Europe.
I see. :) Where did you live until you were 9? :) I've been to Spain once and I liked it. Of course, it's a big country and all the regions are so different, so there is a lot more to explore in future. :D
