Gypsy Travel – How do you know being too long time in Thailand?
Hi Friends,
I decided for a funny first travel post - if you travel around you have so many weird moments, especially in Thailand ! Just remember the story of a half marathon last year in Bangkok, a big international event, with many professional runners and the Thais just did the calculation wrong and runners have to go 17 miles instead of 13 Miles..Haha
How do you know being in Thailand for too long time?
- you are telling someone it is about 11 o'clock, when it is actually already 11.45h
- when you are parking your car, your wife outside helps you using a whistle
- you are seasoning your hamburger with " phrik nam phla"
- you think continually it should soon be time for the next meal
- you can sleep standing in a packed bus
- you go to a “Java Developer Conference” and with the first speaker you can sleep as well ( like all people around you )
- you have placed the money for the ticket in your ear until the arrival of the conductor
- if you meet someone called Steve, you will call him "Sateve"
- you are laughing very loud at jokes you can not understand
- when you have a shopping bill of 3,990 Baht you tell your wife you have been shopping for 3k Baht
- you always have the unpleasant feeling that everything that belongs to you consists of counterfeits and imitations
- you stop thinking, that a girl sitting on a motorbike as a passenger, wearing a miniskirt and busy with her make-up while her toe is hovering over the street, somehow is not quite normal.
or short:
