Images Of Samui Island - Day 12 - Fishing Boats at Maenam

Each day for the next 30 days, I will bring to you a new picture of this beautiful tropical island. Given the current international flight ban into Thailand, the island is almost devoid of people except for a few locals, some long-term expats and Bangkok escapees.

I figured what better time to share with you some images that I take around the island along with a short description of the place in the photo

MAENAM- This quiet little beach is situated on the north of the island and offers nice views over the gulf to nearby Koh Phangan. The sand here is more of a yellow colour than the white sands of the beaches on the eastern coast. The calm waters here make it a good spot for local fisherman to keep their boats.
