Escape From the City Mountain Bike Series with @theexplorer - Hua Hin (Part#2 of 2)
For those who read Part 1 of my Hua Hin blog, I began my 'trail finding' with a slight detour to Khao Hin Lek Fai Viewpoint.
Following on from my 'detour', I made my way towards two trails using the Trailforks App. The trails were aptly named: 'G-String' and 'G-Spot'. Both trails were a cruel mistress, making it difficult to find either of them without some careful exploring!
My trusty hardtail steed, which serviced me well throughout my exploration.
It was a struggle to take pictures by the time I was approaching the trails, so I chose to upload them all in black and white to try and highlight the details.
Again as of when I took my detour, there were some nice views as I approached 'G-String'.
As I reached the mouth of the trail, which took some meticulous following on the Trailforks App, there was a small rock-face/cliff on my left, which could probably be a great playground for the more adventurous freeriders with full suspension bikes.
I passed this to make my way up to the XC track - 'G-string', but after a short while it became quite overgrown, to the point where I could only push my way through at a snail's pace.
I decided to turn around and look for other trails as this part of 'G-String' was too overgrown. My persistence paid off, as by coincidence I met the track going in the opposite direction, which finally allowed me to pick up some speed!
Eventually the track became untraceable and I was riding on my own, so I decided that I would venture towards the downhill track 'G-Spot'. I rode/pushed to just before the top, as there were some very technical sections with big drops, being on my own I thought I would miss these out, as I was pretty far away from civilisation. The pictures below are all from 'G-Spot', the first being the view from the highest point I rode down from.
The tracks were enjoyable to ride once I found them, but I would advise going to them further into the hot or dry season when more people have ridden them, as the one part of 'G-String' could not be ridden. Furthermore, I would advise going with someone else as I would of maybe explored further, had I not been riding solo!
I hope you enjoyed the blog, thank you for reading, please leave comments, they are always hugely appreciated and I will be back soon with my next biking adventure.

Good bike trail.
@lazameddved, the trail was fun, but hard to find, I had to stop all the time to see if I was on track!

looking nice and it provides a sense of curiosity
@junebride, it was a curious trip indeed, but I love new adventures!
Too bad those mountains aren't a lo bigger for some serious downhill.
I think the downhill tracks are better maintained and I happened to go to the one which is left in disrepair
