ร้านขายตั๋วลดราคา หรือที่เรียกว่า "คินเคน โชปปุ" ในภาษาญี่ปุ่น ที่ร้านเหล่านี้ได้รวบรวมตั๋วรถไฟแบบทั่วไปและแบบรถไฟด่วนพิเศษ ขายในราคาที่ถูกกว่าซื้อที่สถานีรถไฟ โดยทั่วไปคุณจะเห็นร้าเหล่านี้ได้ใกล้ๆกับสถานีรถไฟหรือตามย่านแหล่งช้อปปิ้ง ไม่เพียงเท่านั้นที่ร้านยังขายตั๋วรถบัส ตั๋วคอนเสิร์ตและตั๋วภาพยนตร์เป็นต้น คุณสามารถดูราคาได้จากป้ายที่ติดไว้หน้าร้านหรือกำแพงของร้าน แต่ทว่า บางร้านก็มีตู้ขายตั๋วลดราคาตั้งให้บริการแบบ 24 ชม คะ

They stock regular train tickets and bullet train tickets, and sell them for much cheaper than what you'd pay at the train station, Typically, shops are located near the railway station or in small shops on shopping streets. They also have bus tickets, concert tickets, movie tickets, etc. You can find their prices on posters in the front of shop or on the wall. However, some places also have discount ticket machines outside, which operate 24 hours a day.

ตั๋วแต่ละประเภท ราคาส่วนลดก็แต่ต่างกันไปคะ เริ่มตั้งแต่ 10-30% ของราคาปกติ และในวันธรรมดา (จ-ศ) ก็ต่างจากวันหยุดนักขัตฤกษ์และวันหยุดสุดสัปดาห์(ส-อา) ตัวอย่าง เช่น ตั๋วรถไฟชินกังเซน จากโตเกียว-โอซาก้า ราคาปกติ 14,450 เยน ลดเหลือ13,550 เยน คุณจะได้รับส่วนลด 900 เยนหรือเท่ากับอาหาร 1มื้อ เลยนะคะ
Each ticket is different, but start at 10-30% off the normal price, and weekdays and weekends-holiday also have different prices. For example, a bullet train from Tokyo to Osaka is normally ¥14,450, but at the discount ticket shop it's ¥13,550. So, you get a ¥900 discount, or the cost of a meal.
