The Next BIG Alt - Coin

There is a new cryptocurrency that will be having a crowd sale on May 22nd. The company goes by the name Tezos, and will be offering its currency called Tezzies (XTZ). One immediate reason to consider this company is that investor Tim Draper will be putting money into this ICO. He was one of the earliest Bitcoin supporters.

Tezos is decentralized and is similar to Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies in many ways however, it has one improvement that I think is going to make it one of the most successful cryptocurrencies yet. It is a self amending ledger. As said on the Tezos website, many of these larger cryptocurrencies goals were to be decentralized, however a lot of the power ended up in the hands of the developers or miners of the currency. Tezos avoids this problem and here is how:
From what I have gathered by Tezos report online, the system self amends itself. By allowing users to provide suggestions for protocols, which are then voted on by other users, the whole system upgrades slowly over time on its own. This is truly decentralized as the ones making the rules are everyone that uses Tezos.
In order to incentivize this behavior, it appears that the suggestions that are then voted on, accepted, and implemented, receive rewards in tezzies for doing so. So they have created an atmosphere that rewards positive change to the system allowing for perfection over time.
So with this truly decentralized currency and blockchain technology, Tezos then takes it a step further by providing smart contract services. It also has increased security since it is self amending.
