Let's look at this from the perspective of this issue:

However, for my part, in defense of the journal I want to say that in November of the same year he published critical reviews of the article. The reviews indicated that the results of the experiments were unreliable.

The diet of both groups of rats which consisted of transgenic and conventional potatoes was not the same in terms of the amount of protein in it, and also changes in the mucosa could be caused by a transition to an atypical diet for rats. Because this measurements in the control group were not performed.
