A Funny Trip to the Coffee Shop

Last Saturday, I took my sleepy friend Tom to a new coffee shop. Half-asleep, Tom told the barista he wanted a coffee that “tastes like I didn’t get up early.” The barista gave him a drink, but Tom spit it out—it was too sweet. An old man nearby smiled: “That’s my granddaughter’s hot chocolate, kid.” Tom’s face turned red, and we laughed hard. The barista apologized with free lattes, and Tom swore never to skip sleep for coffee again.
