You actually have to understand that his followers are mostly people at his age of community and reputation, which are hitting each other with much higher upvotes than we newcomers are able without instant investment/borrow of SP to have :) But luckily for you, there are some great supporters of community as @blueorgy to push you a bit and give hope :) Just keep doing it, don't give up!
