I'd love to know how you've gotten this far with your bot tests. I'm still stuck getting cli_wallet to connect to an external node. I've also tried building a sync node and ran into difficulties there.
There have been hitches every step of the way and I've figured them out so far, but it would sure be nice to get to the point where I have a working development environment.
