The Tesla Roadster
The Tesla Roadster is an all electric battery powered 4-seater sports car from Tesla Inc. Tesla said that it has a capacity of achieving 0 to 60mph (0 to 97kmph) in an incredible 1.9 seconds which is quicker than any street legal car currently in production.
As if 2017, pre-orders of the Roadster has begun with a initial deposit of US $50000. The base model is expected to sell for $200000, but the first thousand cars to be produced, so called the founder's series will sell at $250000. The Roadster will achieve records that haven't been achieve by any supercar till date. The quickest 0-60 of a current production Street legal car is set by the Porsche 918 Spyder which is 2.2 seconds.
It's incredible that an electric car can achieve record breaking speeds. So everyone Hail Tesla as the future is electric.
