Tesla produces 3,500 Model 3 electric vehicles a week

Tesla is making a serious effort to achieve its goal of producing 5,000 units of its Model 3 electric car a week by July and seems at least to get closer to it. According to Electric, quoted by Engadget, the company of Elon Musk has already reached the production of more than 500 electric vehicles a day, which makes about 3,500 a week. Information indicates that some parts of the production line reach even 700 items a day.

According to Muk, some parts of the production line need "radical upgrades". This also includes the painting section at the end of the line. Tesla's CEO intends to stay at the Fremont plant for several days to ensure optimization of work.

Tesla's initial plans were to reach a production capacity of 5000 units. Model 3 per week until the end of 2017. Six months later, the parameters have not yet been reached, and the company has recently announced staff cuts.
