Tesla: His Life and Genius Explained Through Astrology

It's funny at times how one's steemit posts sometimes come into existence through chance conversations with others. I was speaking to @rok-sivante about his travels in Europe and we ended up typing about a few of the astrological aspects of both Da Vinci and Tesla. I shared a few snippets of my understanding of the aspects of Tesla's astrological chart which seem to thrill his wife due to the 12th house aspects that she suspected he had which I was able to confirm.

I figured as an added treat to his wife, I would complete an full interpretation on Tesla's chart based on what I see showing. I'm going to start with the first house and work my way to the 12th.

He has a very strong Pluto right on the ascendant. People with this aspect are strongly tuned in to other "realities", and could also be called psychic. I can see him being able to visually see his concepts and inventions in his head before anything is added to paper. Pluto in the 1st house, conjuncting the ascendant would also give him an intimidating driven persona causing people to both fear him and also plot against him behind his back.

Uranus in the 1st is a nervous, unusual person which is in Taurus. It also relates back to Venus being in the 3rd conjunct the Sun and trine Neptune. This is where his images come from. One of the symbols of Uranus is electricity.

Mercury on the 3rd house cusp trines Mars in the 6th using a 10-degree orb. Normally I would not go this wide but for Tesla it makes sense. His brain would not like to turn off or wakes him up during the night with an idea or answer to a problem. His Mercury is in Gemini, which is the quickest thinking aspect of the zodiac and then add Mars which would make his mind go even faster. This aspect may have also attributed to his nervous breakdown in his 20s as he could not be able to shut his mind off. Also, Neptune (rules sleep) in conjunct with Mars means he couldn't get much of it. His bio says that averaged 2 hours of sleep a night. Neptune trining his Cancer Sun says he could go without it. Neptune trining Venus is the classic signature for creativity.

His chart is mainly in a triangle pattern called a "Grand Trine". The person who has this aspect often takes their "gifts" for granted. To most, it would seem take he had a charmed life but he might not have developed the self discipline needed to reach his goals and was not able to struggle against obstacles and the competition.

In the 6th house, we find his Moon and Mars, having him feel that he needed to be of service to "the people". His dream was to give his inventions away freely for the "common good". It would also give him an obsession with both feeling and being clean.

Chiron "the wounded healer" in the 10th tells where he is wounded most. The 10th house is the house of fame and honours. It shows that he did not get the accolades in his lifetime that he deserved. Perhaps by the actions of others. He may have also have been hurt by his associates using his ideas to make them money when he wanted to give free power to the world.

His 12th house the house of mystery and undoing is loaded with planets.

Uranus, the planet of originality, is in the first house sextile to both his 12th house Neptune in Pisces and 3rd house Mercury in Gemini. Neptune rules Pisces. Mercury rules Gemini. Uranus is at the exact midpoint of these two dignified planets. All three planets relate to intelligence. Add to this the conjunction of Moon-Mars and you can see that he is a genius.

He also has Jupiter in the 12th. This aspect gives him divine protection but it also doesn't allow one to see their accomplishments. They just keep working and working without ever seeing the reward. The North Node in Aries is also in the 12th. To me this says that he is the initiator of what he was trying to achieve. Locked in the 12th, he never got to see it come to fruition and reap the rewards. All of his luck and purpose seem to be locked up inside of him without him ever being able to fully launch his concepts and ideas.
