Pepsi Becomes First Consumer of Tesla's Electric Semi Truck

Tesla introduced a prototype Class 8 electric truck, called the Tesla Semi, in November 2017 in California. At that time Musk said production would start in 2019.

Tesla CEO Elon Musk said last week that production of the electric Semi truck had begun and the first deliveries would be made to its first consumer, Pepsi, in December. Musk said delivery for Pepsi is expected on December 1, 2022.
