Update: Kankara boys abduction

So yesterday the 17th December, there was news that the kidnapped boys (numbering 344) have been rescued. A wonderful news to us all.

However, the recuse has come under the spotlight as Nigerians wonder if it was actually a recuse or an exchange (money for the boys).

It has also been said that the negotiators were not anyone in government but an organisation of cattle herdsmen who some consider to be involved in occurrences of farmer-herdsmen clashes.

There is also the question of how much for paid which is indirectly funding terrorism.

Another question asks when will the perpetrators of this act be brought to book.

As Nigerians and the world watch to see how these questions will be answered in the nearest future, we are elated that the students have all been released.
