ATP Final Preview: Dimitrov v Goffin

After knocking out Roger Federer in London on Saturday, Goffin was asked which semi-finalist he'd prefer to play in the ATP final on Sunday. Goffin smiled and said that anyone who had been watching the tournament over the last week would probably know his answer.
Goffin faced Dimitrov during the round-robin phase on Wednesday, which could be described as nothing short of a disaster. His 6-0, 6-2 defeat was one of the most humilliating defeats of Goffin’s career. While Dimitrov worked his magic, Goffin could only be described by fans as more than a bit off his game.
Goffin shocked the tennis world by beating Roger Federer
This match was disappointing for Goffin considering he had recently locked in the biggest win of his life, over Rafael Nadal, two nights earlier.
It's water under the bridge at this point as Goffin has just recorded an even bigger win. Victory over Federer is one of the biggest uproars in the 2017 season managing to stop Federer’s 13-match win streak!
Dimitrov will be the favourite to win today
If he isn't at the top of his game from here on there's nothing but disappointment in store from here... Only stepping up his game won't be enough, however, he needs to play the best game of his life, and he knows it.
Dimitrov has dominated Goffin on several occassions. At the ATP level, the Bulgarian is 4-1 against the Belgian (3-1 this season).
Its certainly been an amazing week as Goffin was able to lock in wins over Federer and Nadal. However, Dimitrov is 4-0 in London, and poses a major threat in their upcoming match.

There's no doubt about it, this upcoming match represents a huge milestone in both men’s careers, nobody knows what will happen as Goffin's surprising victory over Federer brings excitement to the final.
When Dimitrov and Goffin face off we can expect some really smooth action and they are almost certain to impress tennis fans at the O2, bringing plenty of excitement and entertainment to the sport.
