Nike has once again proven itself as one of the brand leader in sports and athletic apparel industry. Nike recently applied a patent for its own cryptocurrency to be named as "Cryptokicks".
This is a significant indication that they will dive into the world of blockchain and crypto. This somehow indicates that major brands and companies are already entering the cryptocurrency industry, not many weeks ago, Samsung dipped its fingers by having its own crypto wallet on its flagship smartphone S10 series. Hundreds of other projects are already underway. Seems like every major companies will be in blockchain in a year or two from now.
