Chandi Devi Temple, Haridwar Uttarakhand

Chandi Devi mandir, Chandi Devi is the holy place on the top of the Neel mountain. Chandi Devi is the goddess of conspiracy, which is a form of Goddess Durga Devi. Goddess Vaishno Mata took the form of Chandi with the intention of ending the demons who harassed the human beings, sages and deities. This temple is dedicated to the Chandi Devi. This power is the goddess of bravery and victory. Goddess Chandi had fought here with two such monsters named Shumbh and Nikumbh. These two monks were killed by Devi Chandi in the war.

This is the Chandi devi temple at 4 kilometers away from this Har Ki Pauri, thetemple of Chandi Devi above Neel Mountain is situated on it. After the uphill climbing of about 3 kilometers, the temple of Goddess Chandi Mata is visible.
