TELOS and BP: swedencornet (TELOS/EOS Sweden)

BP: swedencornet (TELOS/EOS Sweden) joined TLG (Telos Launch Group) from the beginning, about 3+ months ago. The TLG at Telos Foundation is comprised of key contributors to the EOSIO network. Most of them had been deeply involved in EOSIO Echo System since the beginning. In launching TBN (Telos Blockchain Network) they are aiming to solve multiple issues and addressing some of the most fundamental issues in the cryptocurrency space, including, but not limited to;

Decentralized Governance
Risks Management
Compliance with established standards
Compliance with decentralized BP's minimum requirements
DApps friendliness
Copyright and Intellectual Property

What’s TELOS (a Sister Chain)?

Just like EOS Mainnet, TELOS is based upon the EOSIO software developed by Block.One. Some people may call it a “sister chain” to the EOS Mainnet. Sister chains are expected to share the EOSIO code base in common. However they may differ in many ways. The TBN (Telos Blockchain Network) generally differs in terms of GRC (Governance, Risks, and Compliance), Token Matrix, Token's distribution, Decentralization, RAM Management, DApps friendliness (allows proprietary Software), and several other specific features.

So, you may say that EOS Mainnet, Telos, and WORBLI are examples of sister chains. In the future, inter-blockchain communication (IBC) will enable EOSIO sister chains to be inter-operable with one another. That will be a great milestone.

In summary

Telos is a new independent blockchain. It's code is forked from EOSIO open source software. https://github.com/Telos-Foundation/telos . It shares a similar code base as EOS Mainnet and all EOSIO variants: e.g. Worbli
Telos has improved a lot in Token Matrix. It's Token allocations are not 100% finalized yet. But you can get updated information from here at https://telosfoundation.io/ .
Voting Management and related capabilities have also been improved. TELOS Token holders will be more powerful than EOS Token holders. Telos is utilizing inverse-weighted voting.

Telos token holders are encouraged to select and vote 30 block producers in order to utilize the full weight of their vote. Without doing this the value of the vote will be proportionally reduced.

TBN (Telos Blockchain Network), related Infrastructure, Governance, and Arbitration will be run by high quality and trusted custodians. We call them Block Producers (BPs)

BP compliance with the minimum requirements will be strictly enforced and non performing BPs will be penalized.
