Oh this is such a sweet story, a determined cat mother - retrieving her kittens, in the same way nature reclaims what was taken by man. There is so much hope in this tale, the seemingly lost kittens, clearly struggling to survive, and the good, but misplaced intentions in trying to help them. This feels like a tale of how we try to help nature without understanding, yet we can learn, and begin to understand, just like here leaving the food out instead of taking the kittens against - despite the dangers to them in the wild.
