Telkom is a great internet service provider............NOT

Hi guys,

You all have great internet right? Great speeds? Fast downloads and low ping right? Well I do....not.

Id like to introduce to you our one and only landline provider, who has such a bad service rating they have a bot that automatically responds to complaints. Why am I saying this? They just don't care about their customers.

For the past 2 weeks, our landline has been down (Our home phone and internet), and despite many people needing the line, Telkom only sent someone to fix it YESTERDAY, and only after we asked 80 times.\

But thats not the worst of it, they charge about R699 (about $40.00 or so, something like that) for a 10mbs line (Their fastest). To put it into perspective, the slow lines in USA (250mbs) are $49.99 . Lets see, that is about 2500% difference in price and speed.

And funniest of all is that they KNOW they suck, but they don't care.

They even put out adverts about how customers shouldn't be treated wrong, however, the comment sections of their adds say it all. Especially the Facebook area.

Seriously, I am considering moving just to have a stable internet connection for more than a day.
