Well, everything that comes with advantages also carries with it disadvantages. However, in this case I feel the advantages of Technological advancements far surpass its disadvantages. I'm sure if we could speak to some 1900s persons and ask them to choose between the life they lived back then and ours today, they would all choose ours, but vice versa would not be the case. I think Technology and screens have brought a whole new improvement to our world.
advantages and disadvantages are rather subjective since every single person has different values that change constantly.
The future always looks better, on hindsight.
You would prefer living in the 2000BCE as a king. It would such to live in Yemen as a 12 year old in 2018.
