$500 million Pre-ICO of Telegram may become the biggest so far
TechCrunch has lately published that Telegram is planning, based on several sources, to collect $500 million via a private sale of tokens. The potential Telegram Open Network will use tokens for the internal payments among the users.
Investors that are not a part of Pavel Durov's (founder of Telegram) "internal network" may only be able to provide a minimum funding of $20 million. Not to mention, TechCrunch is reporting that it will be quite hard to buy TON using fiat money. Bitcoin and Ether will be prioritised when it comes to purchasing TON.
A potential launch of Telegram's wallet is planned to be in the fourth quarter of 2018. Release with all the planned features is expected to be in 2019.
