How to earn your spot in the Gems Token Launch
Community is essential. A little over 10 days ago, early Gems enthusiasts suggested we create the Gems Telegram, and so we did. Imagine how excited we were, considering we’ve done little to no marketing outside of the Gems Blog, when our Telegram toppled 850 members in a mere 240 hours. This begged the question: “How did everyone hear about us?”
Community members who care about and are looking forward to using Gems are sharing our mission: whether it’s Manuel — who created a 43 slide powerpoint about the pros and many cons of Amazon Mechanical Turk and suggested Gems as the alternative or dozens of Gems community members who shared with their peers.
These early active community members, and more like them, are why we can dive headfirst into completing the Gems Alpha instead of focusing on marketing to other potential users of the Gems Protocol.
One question we get often in the Gems Telegram relates to the topic of a token launch. Without even announcing a token sale we’ve had an overwhelming amount of expressed interest. With this in mind, we must ensure that those who partake in our eventual pre-sale and subsequent token launch are those who are contributing to the Gems ecosystem and utilizing the Gems Protocol, and we’ve devised a way to do so: The Gems Community Program.
The Gems Community Program is the way to secure a spot in the Gems Pre-Sale/Token Launch.
- Join the Gems Telegram. Demonstrate that you will use the Gems Protocol and contribute to its ecosystem.
- Help us grow: Share the Gems mission with others who can use the Gems Protocol. The possibilities are endless —but here are a few:
a) invite people to the Gems Telegram
b) write a blog post
c) make a youtube video
d) drive constructive discussions in the Telegram and beyond
e) your own innovative idea

The Gems Protocol, Gems Platform, and subsequent DApps built on top of the Gems Protocol can help so many workers and requesters, and we feel that our peers should know about it.
