Google officialise son smartphone pliable Pixel Fold
Google has decided to lift the veil on the Pixel Fold, its first foldable screen smartphone. The news comes to us first from the official Twitter account of the American giant with a well-chosen Star Wars slogan “May The Fold Be With You”! Then at Google I/O on Wednesday, May 10th.
Design
A cute format. Very thin, it measures only 6 mm thick when open, and 12 closed. We even come to find it almost light while the beast weighs, casually, 283 grams.
Screen
Revolutionary. The smartphone offers a 7.6-inch OLED inner screen in 6:5 format with 1,450 nits and a 5.8-inch outer screen with 1,550 nits. The two are separated by a hinge which allows the smartphone to be assigned an IPx8 standard, which is expected for a high-end product.
Autonomy
Very convincing. With a 4,821 mAh battery, Google Pixel Fold offers over 24 hours of battery life. It is compatible with a “fast” charge of 30 W. The only downside for this smartphone, and not the least, Google announces a fairly high starting price of 1,899 dollars…
