Electric tricycle Morgan will be released in 2018

The British three-wheeled electromobile Morgan EV3, presented in conceptual form as far back as 2015, and in the pre-series electric car - in 2016, will finally be put into production. The technology firm Frazer-Nash Energy Systems will help to set up the production of the Morgan Motor machine, with which an agreement on cooperation was signed.

During the development of the draft specification of an electric tricycle, based on a conventional gasoline 3 Wheeler, several times changed. The final characteristics are as follows: the nominal power of the electric motor rotating the rear wheel is 34.8 kilowatts (47 hp), the peak power is 41.8 kilowatts (59 hp), the capacity of the lithium-ion battery is 21 kilowatt-hours, on one charge - 120 miles (193 km).

Production starts in the third quarter of 2018 at the Morgan Motor Company in Worcestershire. By tradition, the company will collect cars manually - two jokes per week.
