LG’s first 4k projector can beam a picture up to 150 inch!

Expectations are high for LG’s first 4k projector

CES
CES the tech conference of the year, if there is something new to release it is almost always released at CES.
But LG isn’t waiting until CES with the reveal of their new living room gadget for 2018. LG revealed a 4K HDR projector
LG claims it is half the size of other 4K projectors on the market.

HU80KA
The HU80KA as the projector is called, is being pitched as a affordable but premium device that is capable of projecting a 150-inch picture everywhere in your house. Th picture can get seriously bright LG claims it tops at 2,500 lumens. That is making it LG’s brightest projector yet.

HDR
The projector not only supports 4K but you can also get support for HDR with HDR10. You can position the projector everywhere, The floor, the wall, the ceiling, LG says t’ll work great in those kind of setups.

Sound

Built in the projector there are two 7 watt speakers but probably you want to use a soundbar in combination with the projector. It supports audio options like optical, HDMI, and Bluetooth. You can play media of a flash drive and you can also hook up an external keyboard and mouse. You can also run webOS like LG’s TV lineup so you have almost all streaming apps in your reach.

Pricing
LG does not want to share the price of the HU80KA yet
But it will most likely reveal the price the upcoming months
Predicted It will cost slightly under $2,000
