New Car Technologies That Will Help To Save Your Money
Each of us is aware of climate change and we all know that with every second in which we drive our cars, the situation worsens. Worldwide, one of the biggest causes of pollution is transportation, implicitly cars. Which is the solution? To use the technology in the benefit of the environment. Many associate technology with a weapon against nature, but more and more engineers are focused on demonstrating the opposite. I will present four car manufacturers who have found the answer to the problem.
I've always liked the BMW brand, so I always follow the appearance on the market of their new products. In this way I discovered the new engine produced by Bosch. So, why not make a comparison with other alternatives?
Waterboost by Bosh
Bosh engineers have created a new system to reduce the fuel consumption. How? By injecting water into the gasoline engine in the way to bring important benefits to the latter. The jet of water is important to eliminate the fuel waste used to cool the engine. In fact, almost a fifth of the gasoline consumed by cars is completely wasted to cool the intake ducts, without participating in the combustion. To work around this problem, this small amount of gasoline is replaced by water that, without the formation of rust problems, doesn’t end in the combustion chamber but it evaporates before combustion occurs. This way, you can save 8% of gasoline or up to 13% if you drive in a motorway. This system doesn’t only reduce power consumption, but also improves engine performance, especially when it comes to turbo. The first sport car to mount this system is the BMW M4 GTS.

Compressed Natural Gas (CNG)
Natural-gas vehicles and gasoline-powered vehicles are not very different, because they work based on the same principles. In other words, the fuel (natural gas in this case) is mixed with air in the cylinder of a four-stroke engine and is then ignited by a spark plug, to move a piston up and down.
What do you need for these cars? A big gas bottle. The first models were cars with 1 big gas bottle in the boot. More than 10 years ago I had a Mercedes 2.0 which was consuming so much petrol that my dad installed this system and the car became a lot cheaper. Then, 6 years ago, we bought a Fiat Punto Evo. The gas bottle disappeared and was installed a platform below the car. So I could finally have a bit of space in the boot.
What makes these vehicles useful and good? They are cheap to use… with 10 euros I could do between 250 and 300km. In Italy the fuel cost is 1.7 euro per liter (almost 2$ per liter). In England is 1.10£ per liter. So to do the corresponding distance I had to spend 30 euro at least. The problem is that there aren’t so many petrol stations with CNG.

Electric car
Tesla is a company famous for the production of electric cars, fast, secure and environmentally friendly. Besides being a method to reduce the effects of environmental pollution, Tesla brings an advanced technology, easy to use. For example, to charge your car, there are charging stations, in most of America and Western Europe, which fully charge the car between 35 and 75 minutes. Usually if you charge it for 30 minutes it is sufficient to resist for about 170 miles. You can find the nearest station using your vehicle’s touchscreen and you can also check on your phone if the car has been charged.
In addition, it's pretty amazing the fact that only 6 components need to be replaced after a while, and these are the wheels and 2 wiper blades.
But, unfortunately, the price is a weakness: a new model S can be as high as $100,000, while in Italy you can buy one for 125 k (full optional).

Hydrogen Vehicle
As you can tell, a hydrogen vehicle is using hydrogen as a fuel. How does this work? The electricity is produced by burning hydrogen chemical energy in an internal combustion engine or by reacting it with oxygen. Hydrogen economy is the interest of many and these vehicles are a key element. Even if hydrogen can't be found in nature, it can be produced from natural gas, other fossil fuels or from other sources like wind, sun or nuclear. In order to reduce the costs of production there are studies about the wind-hydrogen based on electrolysis of water. Presumably this will not only generate a lower price, but there will also be enough energy to replace, to a certain degree, the use of other traditional sources.
Why these cars can be better than others? Because if energy can be produced by other methods than by fossil fuels, then they will not emit carbon dioxide into the atmosphere.
However, there are some disadvantages. Compared to other sources, it has less energy in the same volume. A solution to this problem is liquefaction, however, this also requires energy. Also, transportation by using this method requires a huge investment in infrastructure.

Conclusion
As for me, after this research, I tend to prefer more the Tesla model S. Besides the benefits that I mentioned above, it seems that the price problem will be solved: in 2017 we will see a new model on the market that will cost only 35k $. It is a great price and I am sure that many of those who did not consider Tesla before, they will do now.
Although the model will not be as beautiful as the Tesla S it is a very good choice because electric cars are the best choice. Yesterday I had a conversation with someone about green energy and about how Netherlands got so many wind turbines, but they still need to buy energy from Germany because the requirement is higher than the energy produced. If all countries would begin to use only green energy, we could live in a better world.

True!
Full electric only comes from Tesla and it is expensive but by expanding to other two models and growing number of cars produced price will begin to fall .
You also have electric car made in Croatia . Mr. Rimac made Concept one and by performances it is a best . Week or two ago Concept one dusted of Ferrari LaFerrari . It's on youtube check it .
As for M4 GTS , Bosch is always of first rows when yo come to car technology , injection systems , esp,asr ,gyro sensors you name it they make it . Bosch work tight with BASF ( biggest producer of catalytic converters in the world ) on lowering CO2 emissions .
Yes I agree with you... there are so many now... but no one is competitive! I mean... have you seen how many miles you can do with a full charge Tesla battery????
