Generate bike helmet from Artificial Spider Warp
Researchers have developed a hybrid spray bottle of hydrogel that has a lot of power and can be used to build a bike helmet in the future.
Cambridge University researchers have recently created a kind of artificial spider web that is very powerful and responsive, quoting Daily Mail. These fibers are similar to the bungee ropes and they will probably be used in the future to make bicycle helmets and anti-bullet vests.
These fiber-like networks produce non-toxic substances as hydrogels.
Silk-like fibers are woven at room temperature using water. In other words, it is produced in an environmentally friendly way.
Dr. Darshil Shah, one of the authors of the study, said: "The production of synthetic fabrics requires a lot of energy, soluble materials, which is hard to process and throw away."
However, chemical interactions between fiber compounds cause a long, thinner filament of hydrogel.
These strings are very thin and each inch is about a millimeter in diameter. The hydrogel used for this process consists of 98% of the water. Another 2 percent is composed of silica and cellulose polymers.
The strength of these strands is greater than other artificial fibers, such as silk and natural materials such as human hair or animals.
On the other hand, these materials have a high moisture content, in other words, they can absorb large amounts of energy like the bungee rope.
There are many uses for this substance. For example, they can be made of very powerful and elastic fabrics for medical purposes.
I am afraid of them xD
thanks for idea ,me too afraid of spider my friend
