In movies criminals always shoot in the chest because movie stars look so fabulous that no-one would shoot them in the face.
As for the rest of us, I saw a site selling things like bulletproof portfolio case that people can hold up as a shield.
Personally, though, I think I need jeans with bullet proof back section as I am most likely to be shot in the ass as I run away.
