It is, indeed, a possibility, considering the way technology is advancing. However, I would not wish to live forever, if the negative traits of humans (selfishness, discrimination, the penchant for wars/conflicts, and so forth) persists in the AI spectrum. Still, it is interesting to think about, and I thank you for sharing this brain-teaser in #steemitbloggers
First, you could decide to not live forever if you wanted to, it is not like people would be forced to remain alive if they don't want.
About the bad human traits, I think that with increasing intelligence, bad traits should be reduced.
