If you've updated Google Chrome recently you may have a problem

Popular google browser Chrome has just released an update of the browser. But it appears that users has found this to be an issue.

Google is constantly upgrading it's products in a bid to make it better than their competitors.

However, the current upgrade appears to cause some issues at users end.

Google in a bid to make the browser better added an upgrade, this upgrade is to stop the audio of autoplaying video.

In a post on their blog Google said: “As announced earlier, autoplay is now allowed only when either the media won't play sound, after the user clicks or taps on the site, or (on desktop) if the user has previously shown an interest in media on the site.

Why is This a Problem?

The issue with this software is that stopping a sound on a video that plays on its own will automatically affect other audio within the browser

According to a report from users, the current change has affected numerous games that runs through the browser.

Speaking about the seriousness of the issue, one developer said: “I cannot think of a comparable moment where one team of developers killed so much internet culture in one unilateral move.”

Google know about this problems and said that their team are working very hard on the compatibility of the new upgrade.

In a post to developers Google product manager John Pallett, said: "We’re doing this to give Web Audio API developers (e.g. gaming, audio applications, some RTC features) more time to update their code.
