The minimalistic smart watch Skagen Falster went on sale

The Danish company with Chinese roots Skagen, now part of the Fossil Group, specializes in the production of traditional wristwatches and their hybrid versions. The latter do not differ from the usual clock, but due to the built-in electronic components they can be used instead of a fitness tracker, transferring the collected information to a smartphone.

This gadget is equipped not with an analog dial with arrows, but with a color display. The role of the program interface is assigned to the platform Android Wear 2.0, which offers the user the services of the digital assistant Google Assistant. And the Skagen Falster attracts attention with a refined design in a unisex style, which will appeal to the supporters of minimalism without piling on the bezel.

Skagen Falster received AMOLED-display with a diagonal of 1.4 inches, Synchronization with mobile electronics running Android and iOS is via Bluetooth 4.1.

Smart watches Falster are offered in versions with a leather strap and a metal bracelet. A compact docking station with a magnetic clip is supplied with the device, which is necessary for wireless charging of the watch. The battery life of the Skagen Falster in moderate operating mode is about 24 hours.
