LG introduced LG Q8 with 5.2-inch QHD display and Snapdragon 820 SoC
LG has introduced one more smartphone under Q-series today in Italy named LG Q8. Earlier last week, company had launched Q6, Q6a and Q6+ smartphones under the same Q-series but the new Q8 has slightly better specifications. LG’s new Q8 is more like smaller version of V20 smartphone which they launched last year.
It has a 5.2-inch Quad HD screen with Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection along with a 2.1 (160 x 1040 pixels) secondary screen. The phone packs last generation of Qualcomm Quad-core Snapdragon 820 processor with Adreno 530 GPU. It comes with 4GB LPDDR4 RAM along with 32GB (UFS 2.0) internal memory. The internal storage is expandable memory up to 2TB with microSD. It has a 16MP rear camera with f/1.8 aperture, dual-tone LED Flash, Laser AF, 78-degree lens, OIS and 4K video recording, 8MP secondary rear camera with f/2.4 aperture, 135-degree lens. At front, it has a 5MP front camera with f/1.9 aperture, 120-degree wide-angle lens.
The unibody metal designed LG Q8 comes with a 3000mAh non-removable battery and has IP67 ratings for water resistance. It has 32-bit Hi-Fi ESS SABRE ES9218 Quad DAC, B&O audio, High AOP Mic for better multimedia experience as well as better calling experience. For connectivity, it has 4G LTE, IR Blaster, dual-band WiFi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 4.2 LE, GPS, NFC and USB Type-C. The LG Q8 comes with Android 7.0 Nougat with LG UX 5.0 UI on top running out of the box. There are also a fingerprint sensor and infrared sensor present in the phone.

The phone will be available in Titan color and is priced at £599.90 (approx $777 / Rs. 50,000). It will go on sale by July end on Amazon in Italy.
